Baby Naming Rights

Baby naming is hard. So, who better to ask for help than the creative people we love. Help us name our baby boy by posting a comment on the blog. If we choose your name, you get baby holding rights anytime we see you. This means, you have number one priority for holding baby over all others in the room, even Granny and Grandma. And if we don't choose any of them, at least we will get a good laugh. So far we have the following suggestions:

Joe Jr.
Snarky
Owen
Bubba
Yuri
Albus
Severus

Belly Shot #3: 20.5 Weeks

Here is a shot of what we call the "Big 'Ol Belly." I guess it really isn't that big considering what it will be, but it is sure starting to feel that way!

It's gonna be a...

Boy! Good guessing, Granny & Jen. We had our ultrasound today and everything is normal and healthy. It is really amazing how much you can see in the ultrasound...spine, heartbeat, hands & toes and the indication that he is indeed a boy. He was moving around so much and kept putting his hands up to his face so the radiologist had a hard time getting a clear photo! The due date has changed a bit to December 7 and I am really starting to feel him move and the belly is definately getting bigger. I'll post a photo soon.

So I finally have an answer for all those of you who are asking, "when do you find out if Baby is a boy or girl?". Two weeks from today we should have an answer for you because that is when we get our first ultrasound. Place your bets now! I have included the following countdown clock for your convenience (thanks Jason!).

Where will baby sleep?

In our new home of course!

Well, maybe not in this new home or any new home for now. Joe and I took our condo off of the market and have decided to stay a bit. It's way to much stress to try to sell, move, work and get ready for the baby all at the same time. So we shall stay in our 800 sq. foot condo for a bit. Good thing is that baby will be able to get used to police sirens & traffic & noise and we don't have to leave our favorite Thai restaurant next door! So now we can get started thinking about Baby's room...although I think my sister already has it planned out for us :) . The best part though is that we get to bring our dog, Kirby, home. He has been away at Joe's parents while we tried to sell our place. We sent him away because the realtor said it would have been pretty hard to sell with Mr. Barky Pants around.

The house above was one we saw at Lake Geneva on this boat tour Joe and I took with a group of seniors. It was called the "Mailboat Tour" because we were on the boat as mail girl, Shauna, delivered the mail to residents of the lake. Shauna would jump from the boat to each pier and have to run back to the boat because the boat did not stop. There were a couple times where we were pretty worried for Shauna! Joe and I decided that this tour should have been named the "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous Tour" instead.

Belly Shot #2: 17 Weeks

Joe and I went to Lake Geneva after the Fourth of July to get away from the smog and craziness . Here I am on our balcony overlooking the harbor. The weather was perfect!

Belly Shot #1: 14 Weeks

By popular demand, here is the beginning of a blog dedicated to all things baby. Here is the first photo taken of the belly with Grandpa at 14 weeks. Our family planned a really nice shower on the beach for us where we got an excellent start to a book collection for baby....and Joe.
